Not to my knowledge--but it's a possiblility. Also, thinking about a poker run if I knew how to set one up--any ideas? Anybody?

have never done a poker run before, but to my understanding, you could plan a nice drive through the country, say a couple of hundred miles, then you would need 5 check points, along the way. at each check point they would draw a card, then at the end car with highest poker hand wins..

ALL---

I WOULD LIKE TO SUGGEST WE DO A --HOLMES, COSHOCTON, MUSKINGUM OR GUERNESY COUNTY TRIP. MAYBE EARLY SEPT.

THE HILLS AND DALES WOULD BE GREAT.

THE ONE THING I REALLY ENJOY DOING AT THE FLING IS THE CRUISIN. THIS WILL BE THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO GET TOGETHER FOR FUN AND A RUN.

CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS AND THOUGHTS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME;)

When i autocrossed wth the corvette club we used the delphi plant on the west side of columbus, and it was pretty cheap to rent the lot. I thinkit ran about $5-7, per car, and the corvette club only had bout 20-30 cars that turned out each time. just a thought if anyone was interested. jeff priest

What i meant to say was we had 3 sets of runs with 3 runs in each set [ 9 runs total] and the cost was $5-7 for each set of runs. jeff priest

Jeff,

If you like autocrossing your Cobra you should have returned to the OSU Parking lot again on Sunday instead of cruising behind some other reptiles at 10mph.
SCCA-OVR had the regular auto cross event # 3 and we will run the next one # 4 at the OSU Airport (off 161, Brookdown Dr) on Sun Jul 13. Be there before 9. Loaner helmets available.
All Cobra replicas run in Class EM and so far only Rick D and I have run some of the events.

I'm back!

Sorry guys, had to go to Cozumel for nine days.

The OVR SCCA puts on great events but the number of runs you get is generally limited.

SCCA putting on another event for us this year is unlikely. Every club is trying to get them.

As for doing one ourselves, that could probably be done. But I have no idea how to secure a site nor get the equipement required.

Rick

To bad about Cozumel, I mean you had to come back--

Hope you had a good time---

We need to plan a cruise through mid-Ohio--for next month==

Later,,

Mike

I think even if we do not have the timing equipment we could still do it just for fun at first ,and just outline the course with cones. I do not know what person that needs to be talked to for a site to be reserved or where to even look for a site other than a big parking lot. Oh 1 more thing, my car will not be ready for a few more months so i am just thinking outloud at this time. jeff priest
