Solon Cruise nite
NOCC Members: and all others interested:
Next Tuesday the 29th is the 2 seat sports car nite at the Solon Cruise nite behind the movie theater on rte 43 just east of Harper Road. The Solon Cruise nite has been rated as the No ! Cruise-In of all Ohio. Next Tuesday will also be Corvette nite as well. There will be many cars weather permitting ofcourse. Wed nites are the rainout nites. Last nite I talked with the organizers and if we show up by 5:30 or so they will reserve an area for cobras. Get there early if possible, no more saving spaces on a good nite. On a good nite this place puts in as many as 700 cars. I've seen nites where they turn away more than a hundred cars or more. Anyway, just thought we could show up in a group and take some of the attention from the Covettes, Z3's, MG's, and ofcourse the Hondas and Miatas that will be there as well as all the rods, customs and original muscle cars. Mike Bratz maybe they will have your plaque for you to pick up from last year. Yeah, Yeah, numbers and decals = RACE CAR!!! Anyway, just thought I would put that out for everyone. Then the following Saturday Gary's Picnic on the 2nd. Jim |
Sounds like a plan. Weather permitting I'll plan on being there..

We would like to come although it looks like rain.
Where are going to meet and what time. jack and judy |
Jack, Judy and others: as you drive in past the movie theater to the back you will be greeted by a host club member and given directions to park in the first few rows. All I can say is look for other cobras to park next to. I can only tell you to try to get there early, 5:30 would be great, they have food vendors there. Anything after 6:00 you might be further back in the lot. After 6:30/7:00 you might getr a space to park.

Weather permitting... will be there. It was a great show last year, pretty cool that Mike won.
I'm putting on the decals this year and might do a stripe made with shelf paper (ducks & bunnies maybe?) Will see if I can give him a run for the trophy. - Dan |
DAN,
With that PVC roll bar you can't miss. jack |
Do you guys think the thing will still be their???
Sounds like a good time---- getting their by 5:30 maybe a problem-- Mike |
Mike: you can ask the club that puts on the cruise if they still have it, (they just might) the same club has put on the show for years. If we can get a good count of cars, I'll get there at 5:00 and see if I can get enough spots for those that say they are coming.
