Will our non-Shelby version of the Cobra Supercar be welcome ??

If you are a SAAC member in good standing you can indeed bring your replica. The only limitation placed upon you is that you will not be eligible for Concours or Best in Class/Year jury competition.
Also some SAAC events can have some track action. It is unclear if a replica would be allowed in that type of venue.. At least that is what I have seen in the write ups regarding the previous SAAC events. Having never been to a national SAAC event, I truely wonder how a replica Cobra would be received and how "welcome" your auto's accomodations will be. I wonder if attendees to previous SAAC events could share their experiences? |
Replica Cobra's are welcome. Replica's are put into a different class than the original 2000 and 3000 series cars. Superformance usually has a display at the SAAC conventions. Hey, if it wasn't for us replica guys, SAAC's yearly dues revenue would be down. I'm not sure, but there may be more SAAC members with repica Cobra's than there are with real ones. I don't think Ole Shel will sign your dashboard anymore, if you own a replica.
