Hey don't apologize,

You're doing exactly what you should be doing - driving the car! Beats sitting home and complaining about the mfg's, Shelby, Real vs Replica and a lot of the other stuff that comes up around here this time of year.

I took mine out last year on both New Years Day, and the 2nd of January. Roads were clear of salt, sun was out, little cool but a lot of fun.

Mother Nature still has some stuff in store for us here in Ohio; we usually get that last big hit right around St. Patricks day.

I wish that I could get out, but moved the car into temporary storage to make room in the garage for another project - hoping to have the Cobra back home by the end of March.

You think you screwed up -- we were with Dan ---
Well I get mine out of storage at the end of this month -- 30 days and counting -- however, it has snowed on Easter ---

Hey Rob,
I ALWAYS expect one snow after Easter. Look on the bright side though. Easter is in March this year. I almost took mine out on that one day last week when it was sunny and 70 degrees, or was that the week before. I wanted to, but the driveway was muddy, and I couldn't bear the thought of making a mess of here so early in the year. She has here little sister GT40 sitting on a trailer right next to her now, and I can tell she's itching to run. Soon baby, soon.

....another 8" last nite, snowing again right now.

Clearly you exceeded the speed limit too - not bad enough to have been out in it, but you hadda go fast too.

I'll get even. Next time somebody asks me for directions, I'm sending nitwit New Jersey drivers out your way.:p

Hey, how do I keep getting sucked into this weirdness???

You guys are starting to give me a complex (on top of the one I've been working on for the past 45 years).

Am I the only one with studded snows on mine?

trularin 03-01-2005 06:24 PM

What are you complaining about?

We are getting a solid 6 inches and it is still snowing. And, all I did was START my car.
