Earlier in the week, Bill Dyer expressed an interest in going. The Indy 500 starts at 1:00....probably should be finished by 5:00. Hmmmm...Sue and I are headed up that way for a cook-out with friends after the race. We'll stop by for a quickie. More than likely, she'll drive the mini. Anyone else....? |

Rick, Can I bring the GTO to the London weekend? As it looks now the engine builder won't have the motor ready. I lost the crankshaft bearing on the Duble Venom car about a month ago.

Lost a bearing! That stinks. I don't know what to say about the GTO......... but I do want to see you there. I would say bring it but I would imagine it may not be part of some of the events, at least not officially. But I don't see why you couldn't still be involved even with the GTO. Cruising, etc should not be an issue. Seems to me in the past for like the parade different cars just brought up the tail end of things. By the way, GTO's are one of my favorite muscle cars!! I will bring it up in the meeting tonight and get back to you.

Who is going tomorrow? I can finally attend and the weather is going to be beautiful. Plus we can use this as one final meeting if need be. I will be there around four. Who has the posters and stuff for the raffle car?

Hmmm....the weather IS fantastic!!
I'm doing the OVR autocross at Cooper Stadium... should be done about 3-4ish. On site registration from 7-8:30 AM (first 30 only). I'll be there at 7:00.....please join me! After that...I'll be red-neck-fried from the sun all day so maybe a few "cold-ones" are in order. I'm gonna play it by ear.....no promises. |
