BBQ in Grove & Cruise to Miami (OK)
On Saturday, July 23rd., a bunch of us will be heading up to a fellow Cobra friends house in Grove for a BBQ. As it was last August,we can chat and chow done for a few hours, then go on into Miami for the cruise-in at Waylan's Ku-Ku Drive-In.
"This car cruise is held on historic Route 66 in the town of Miami. Make a stop along the nostalgic Mother Road at Waylan's Ku-Ku Drive-In, home to some of the best burgers on Route 66, to meet and greet fellow car cruisers and to begin your trek down the historic American highway. Car cruise festivities include music, door prizes, dash plaques, games, trophies and plenty of family fun." Here's the link for the Waylan's: Waylan's Ku-Ku Burger | TravelOK.com - Oklahoma's Official Travel & Tourism Site Meat(s), a few side dishes and some kind of desert will be provided at the BBQ. The rest is pot luck, so bring something you like to eat. If any of you south Tulsa folks would like to join us, let me know. Randy |
Hey Randy is this Ronnie Lanes' house? Right now I am working on both cars but would like to make it to a cruise with you guys.

Hey Clois,
No, it's not Ronnie's house. This is a good friend of mine (Bob) & he's on the forum sometimes. He has a B & B Cobra & is waiting delivery of his Daytona from Bryan. Since it's going to be so hot again, we're leaving the "hot rods" at home & taking the daily drivers up just for the BBQ. We'll be doing the Miami cruise night whenever it cools off a little. I'll post that date so you'll know. We still plan on doing the RT. 66 Cruise to Arcadia, a fall cruise and possibly a winery cruise. I'll keep you posted. Randy |
Thanks Randy!
