Oklahoma Axle Shop

I'm about to get to the point where I'm ready to have some work done on my axle. I have an 8.8 with drum brakes and 4.10 gears. The axle tubes were welded to the center section at some point and the welds have now started to crack and leak. So what I'm wanting to do is have the axle narrowed some, but disk brakes on it, which I already have, replace the 4.10's with 3.73's, and have the leaks fixed. My problem is I don't know of any shops in the area that do this kind of work. I live in Ponca City, but am fine with traveling to OKC, Tulsa, or Wichita or even a little farther if need be. Does anyone have any suggestions?

JB have you found a shop yet? If not here are a couple in Tulsa that can fill your needs:

Billy Young 4X4 918-437-9393

Danny's Differential 918-742-7478

Good luck./

Clois

Billy's shop is not much to look at but he does excellent work. He has done all my work on my Cobra and the Coupes.
