Lucas firewall wiring
Guys, got 3 weeks off from being Dad (the ex has taken my son to australia for a holiday)! so time to crack on with the car :JEKYLHYDE:):MECOOL::D
i trial fitted the lucas components to the firewall today. but can anyone tell me the color coding used for the relays, fusebox and rear light box etc. its only decorative on my car, ( as i dont trust the reliability), but for authenticity-sake i wanted it all to look correct. so i want to make up a run of dummy loom for these bits that is color-coded correct. cheers, kevin |

This might also help. It explains what colored wires are used for what connections.

Wiring Colour Code Table
This is an extract from BS-AU7a 1983 Colour Code for Vehicle Wiring, from the British Standards Institution. (Note that these colour codes may not apply directly to older cars. ) For example, the wipers on cars up to 1980 (at least) are not on a separate fuse circuit, so they are not orange, but green. Check the schematic for your car to be certain.
