Correct FiA rollbar radius?

Building parts for Jim's F5 FiA conversion car, and the stock F5 rollbar has the wrong rollbar radius, any input on what is correct?

Bruce, the bar on my ERA has an OD of 1.52 & it is powdercoated. I'm guessing it's likely 1.5 OD pipe. between the upright bars I measure 10-3/4". So that should be your inside DIA on the bend. ERA should be pretty close, right?

1.5 DOM seamless tubing .120 wall /6" radius. 12" on center.

I agree with Rick; 12" c2c.

That's two in agreement with Rick...

Bruce let me know if you have a need for 1.5" rollbars on 6" CLR.

Wise men... how about a 289 wiring harness like this below? This is from an ERA. Any ideas where to get this besides asking ERA to sell it to me? :D

Is this not appropriate for a 289?

I did mine using ERA's as an example, rewired the entire car, made the harness. Used Hitachi mini starter which has a solenoid as part of the starter. Eliminates remote Ford type solenoid, otherwise pretty close.

How did this turn into a wiring thread? They're here http://www.britishwiring.com/Ac.PDF

This is for the same car Bruce is working on. We've both been trying to find it. Since I had your attention I thought it was a good time to ask this particular group of guys. I was right.

Thanks.

CSX2201-CSX2589 street roadsters used Ford designed, Ford part numbered, sourced, and provided wiring harnesses (multiple sections with plug in connections). SAI works racers, base on period pictures, were custom wired completely to suit the needs of the occassion by SAI's race shop with aircraft wiring materials.

Shelby American installed driver only forward braced single hoop Cobra (leaf spring cars 1962 through 1965) roll bars were normally made of 0.093 wall 1.375 nominal outer diameter steel tube. The distance between the legs of the hoop measure out at 11.0 inches which makes tube center to tube center 12-3/8 inches. I know personally of only one Cobra that retains "the" assembly installed in it as new car. I have been hunting truly original equipment roll bars for decades. The owner of this car (sold new as a competition car) verified dimensions for me last year when he had the decades old paint job his car had replaced.
