CSX 3015/Super Snake/Twin Paxton
I need some help identifying the gauges used in the Super Snake. There seem to be 4 extras. I think the two on the right, lower row are boost/vac... but I am not sure. Can anyone confirm what they are, as well as the others?
So the small gauges in the top row are: Amps?, fuel psi?, oil temp?, ? ,? And the lower two: boost?, boost? http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...obra-003-5.jpg |
I believe you have 2 boost gauges, one for each supercharger and...
2 vac/boost gauges for the cross ram intake manifold. There's 2 of these because the intake manifold is split into 2 separate chambers. The modern dual inline setup would probably only have 1 vac/boost since the intake is all one chamber. |
Hexnut72,
Here's the web site for the guy who apparently rebuilt/restored this car a really long time ago: http://www.wurthitdesigns.com/ There's a link to his rebuild page near the bottom. You might be able to e-mail him with your questions. Enjoy, Tom |
Can't tell of its the original at some earlier stage or a replica, but check out the dash pic in post #15 here:
