It was super to see 3 generations of gearheads thrashing on the car and getting it to SAAC 37. That is a great show (and picture) of your dedication to the marque. Good job all of you and nice seeing you. Thanks for making the effort and bringing it out. That looks like an English plate on the front?

Old style license plate
Yes, we have a friend that travels to London a couple times each year, he had that made on one of his trips.
I noticed a 427 at the Glen that had the same style plate with the CSX3 serial number. that old style plate is very cool. later |
Looks fabulous!

Great pictures of two great cars Sun Dude.
Ron :) |
Isn't it refreshing to see cars with NO stripes? No distractions to that great shape!
Cheers, Glen |
Not to mention rollbars, scoops and sidepipes. :3DSMILE:

Karl,
Are you planning on auto-crossing your scratch built car this year? |
Karl, it looks great and really came together at the right time.
Will you be at the Sonic cruise next week (this week is too hot for me)? |
CSX2498 car shows
Hello, thanks for all the nice words about CSX2498, it was a fun project.
I will not have 2498 at the Sonic cruise night, weather (heat) permitting I may have the scratch built 427 at that show. I will have 2498 at the SHELBY show at the Roctoberfest show in Hatfield on Saturday Oct 6th and possibly the Mustang Barn show. The local SCCA only has one saturday autocross the entire season, and I will be in WV for a big match on the 14th of July. The SCCA region that races at Hershey Park has a saturday /sunday event often, I may have to take the car to Hershey if I wanna autocross this year. regards, Karl |
Karl,
Send me some pics, missed you at SAAC37. Thanks Jeff |
CSX2498 fotos
Hey Jeff, Nick has a DVD full of fotos from the Glen. Over at the SAAC forum there are several links to flikr & other hosting sites with plenty of fotos. That blue 289 on your poster looks awful familiar.
regards, karl |
Karl
Yup, had to add it to the pics as it is awesome... drive it out? |
|
OK, that's fine. But who are all the geezers?
|
http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d.../P10504872.JPG Well, I think they are friends of this old geezer..... I said "smile". I guess I should have said, "wake up!" first!
|
Jim, please recall that I was not asleep. Rather, I was politely requesting another drink.
|
Uh oh, it makes me wonder what's in the camera behind that polite/old geezer/snoozer.
