Shelley jack - what color grey?
Does anyone have any suggestions for the color grey to be used on the Shelley jack for the 427 Street Cobra (as shown in the Bruce Canepa restoration photos)?
Looks like a glossy kind of middle grey (heard it described as a smoke grey). Thanks Cheers Greg |
I was thinking it looked a little like utility grey. Like you'd see on a gas meter or electric meter. Thats what came to mind in the photo's I've seen.

Good one Larry. I'll have to hold the pic up to my utility meter for color check.

Check out "machinery gray" commonly used for equipment and such. Hardware stores or an MRO supplier should have it.
