How much would an original set of original small block aluminum Cobra valve covers co

For a 67 or Shelby restoration what price range for original valve covers?

67 small block must be a Mustang?
I have seen them as low as 200, original Buddy bar style will be a bit higher 500 - 700 range however Cobra Automotive makes a dead ringer duplicate for about 250.

Note that the 67 GT350s did not use the same valve covers as a 289 Cobra. The ones used on the 67 Shelby were sold via Ford until the 80's and are not really rare. There are some minor (but discernable to Concours judges) differences between the units used in the 60's and the latter service parts. The 66-67 Shelby GT350 covers are black wrinkle while the Cobra and 65 Gt 350 units are "as-cast" and have "open" letters, that is a recessed line in the center of the letters that the 66 and up covers do not have.

Branda sells a nice replica of the 'open letter' style.

These are early Ford dealer covers that belong on a 1963 289 Hipo that I have.
