Yeah, you're right. It should have a saddle to be exact but the casting is the same. Work well for a replica though and probably shouldn't be used to jack up a car anyway.

Well you might be right on using one, but I used mine in an emergency back in 1983 on the Fla. turnpike, and it worked like a champ.

Guys,
I have designed and fabricated a new curved jack top for all folks with round-tube frame guys and a 4" round frame. All you need is a short bottle jack to attach it to. So far, fits 4" round like a glove, with neoprene padding as well. I am working on final details and will keep you posted. It's pretty cool. :cool: |
