Later 289 McCord Radiator?
If I'm not mistaken (it's been known to happen), the later 289 MKII's used a McCord radiator. Anyone know if it's reproduced? Is there an aluminum version in the original style made?

They have been, both in steel frame-brass and all aluminum. I have never seen an aluminum one in person or a picture good enough to get any detail and I have only seen the semi mass produced copy of the steel frame-brass one in pictures too low resolution to see much detail. I have seen one in person made from scratch by a restorer (before reproductions were made) that was an incredibly good likeness down to fine details.
I have heard that Dave Wagner sells the OEM type materials version of copy. |
