Source for Headlight Assembly?

I have a Hurricane Motorsports Roadster (love it BTW), and want to upgrade to a higher quality headlight assembly. I know a number of people use a Wipac set-up, but the trim rings are a smaller diameter and don't look 100% right. The Hurricane was supposedly cast from an original 427 (CSX3235), so I'm thinking whatever worked on an original would be the best fit. Any suggestions on source and part #'s? I was looking at the assemblies that come with FFR Roadster and wondering if that would be a good fit.

Thanks.

Dan

Dan, have you contacted Dusty at Hurricane Motorsports? I think they have an updated headlight assembly.

You can also try Finishline - :

Thanks guys.

Hurricane is now using the Wipac assemblies, which include trim rings that are too small (8 1/6"). Nick @Acton confirmed for me last night that he uses Wipac as well. Based on the photo on his site it appears it's the same item sold by Shell Valley, and I believe Finishline.

The original Hurricanes came with an inexpensive Baja brand item, popular in the VW world, but it does have the authentic "bug eye" look to them. The trim rings are 8.5" in diameter fit the Hurricane well, but are not a high quality finish, so durability could be an issue. So I'm looking for something that size in a higher quality. I have a message out to Moss Motors asking for the size of the MGB /C headlight rings they have (item # 164-011). Theirs are chromed brass, so high in quality. Any other leads are appreciated. I wonder what Factory Five uses? Brand and size?

The originals used, I believe, MGB - but there's a lot of choice on Holden's website (UK).
