Yeah, that's it. Probably would never notice it once mounted on the seat and you'd have to hold it in your hand to tell... but I'm weird and demented about stuff like that!

Here is a photo of some knobs listed as in good, used condition that were offered to me last week at $85. each without the Leveroll Medallion. Medallions on eBay are $38. and change... so we're at $123. before tax and shipping. Metal-Morphous is a better deal. JMHO. :)

$85 doesn't seem to bad to me but maybe M-M's are a little nicer. How much does he get for his?
We cast up a couple for a test, using an original to make the mold. I think I can do better though using a machined master from Dan's drawings. Larry http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...ps6vgz9vd2.jpg |
That looks pretty good. Anyone got any ideas on the actual seat runners themselves?

I would also be interested. I'm always looking for a new project.

We just had the master machined. It will now be polished/anodized, then we'll make a mould and cast a couple for a test. I'll post a couple photos when we cast the test knobs.

Thanks for the update Larry. Please keep me on your "wait list".

I’ve made some Leveroll knobs. The correct profile unlike the US reproductions available. I’ve also made the domed brass plate. The original was aluminium and was ‘brassed’, a paint effect. Mine are made of brass. I CAD modelled the knobs and resin printed them. Anyone interested as I can make more if there is demand?

Hi Larry. Got a pair of knobs from you a few years ago. (That sounds weird!)
Anyway, wondering if you will be doing the bent lever arm? Cheers Greg |

No plans on any lever arms besides the ones on the whole replacement sliders we did. Sold out of the first run but made some more. A couple restorers purchased a number of sets for originals but they are still available. We can cast more knobs as well since I have a machined master. http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/orig...l-sliders.html Larry |
