what do underside of hood and trunk lids look like

I'm continuing with my "reasonably authentic" build based on a FFR MkIV. Would greatly appreciate information relating to the underside of the hood and trunk lids, particularly the 427 S/C version. I assume that they were aluminum but I am having a tough time finding pics to go by. Painted? Bare? Metal tube around the edges that the aluminum was wrapped around. Single layer? Double? Shape and position of hole in hood for the air scoop to funnel the air flow? Edge of hood scoop cutout with metal tube on the edge to stiffen? Any assistance, especially pics showing the construction of these two lids would be most welcomed.
Many thanks for any and all info.
Best,
Ron
