Nice job of restoration from Speedycables on an ebay BM4 I've had kicking around for a while:

The case has been rechromed, the dial cleaned and the damaged needle repaired and recoloured. The ammeter internals have been uprated and is now actually 60-0-60, but obviously I wanted the dial retained as original. Hence the uprated connectors on the back, which will now take heavier-duty cables with eyelet connections and rubber boots fitted over to give better protection than the stock screw-in mouldings. I have a NOS original just in case I want to go back, but the correct date-stamped fomoco alternator has been uprated too so this seemed a safer way to go. Roger |
