Converted Wilwood Floor Mount Pedals to Period Correct
Staring with Wilwood a dual master cylinder brake pedal and clutch pedal, I decided they just didn't look period correct. So I fabricated new pedal arms from steel plate and steel tubing with the same geometry as the Wilwood unites, had the pieces welded, then powdercoated. Now they look like they should

Looks great. Very original looking.

Bill,
You are amazing! Anytime you feel like fabricating something for my car, go right ahead! Very well done, and much better with the AC pedals. |
Those look great! The original floor mounted pedals on the new Hurricane cobras were one of the factors that steered me toward my purchase of a Hurricane kit. Even though they arent an exact copy of the originals from an engineering standpoint they look and function very similar.
I took off the foot pads that came on my arms and replaced them with AC pads from Finishline - I think they came out pretty good. http://worleyworld.com/images/hm2008...s/IMG_3060.JPG |
