Voltage Regulator & Starter Solenoid 427 Cobra
I would like to know what is the correct Voltage Regulator and Starter Solenoid for a 427 Cobra. I thought for the later cars both were suppose to be the Black Autolite with C7 Part numbers, for the early cars I thought they had either Blue Fomoco or Autolite Regulators with C5 or C6 Part numbers, Brown Solenoids with either C5 or C6 Part numbers. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Here is another alternative for your voltage regulator. I've had one in my car, which is 13 years old now without any issues. Mounts on the back of the back of the alternator.
