Leveroll original seat runners are painted ?if yes colour, or plated

These are dirty but silver non the less.
FYI, if you're restoring an original set, the metal keepers inside that hold the rollers in place are often bent. That keeps the rollers from rolling their full distance. Something to check before reassembly.

Yes, silver cad plate, or silver bright zinc which is all you can get in the UK now.
Is there a source for repro seat runners yet? I ended up with a set from a period racing car that had been removed (with the seat) in the sixties. Would like some spares, if anyone's remanufacturing.

New reproduction versions of these runners are now being made by Hawk Cars in the UK. Had my hands on a set last weekend - they look very nice. With the Leveroll knob on the end too.
