Cobra trim tag

Re-reading Colin Comer's book, (Shelby Cobra , The Snake That Conquered The World) for about the 20th time and every time I read any of the Cobra books, I always notice something I hadn't seen before.
This time I spotted something new: On CSX3209, the "trim tag" detailing the paint supplier and paint code. Never seen the tag in any other pics. Were they "photo etched" like the chassis tags. Don't look stamped. Just wondering. Cheers Greg |
Since my car is a period correct Rangoon Red color, I think I'll make up a clear vinyl decal to stick to a piece of aluminum to match the period correct "trim tag" so when people ask me the color of my car, I won't forget. LOL (diabolically)

I made a clear vinyl decal of the script for the trim tag and put it on a piece of aluminum. I used a piece of polished aluminum and it may have been better with a piece of mill finish aluminum.
Now to decide where and how to mount it. Cheers Greg |
