Lucas SLR576 Flamethrower mounting bracket

Has any one of you a detail picture or a drawing of the mounting bracket used to mount the Lucas SLR576 Flamethrowers on Sebring cars?

Can't help you with any detailed drawings, but Gordon Bruce's book "The First Three Shelby Cobras" has some good pics.

Looks like a simple "C" clamp that attaches to the bottom brace for the front hoop/bumper which traps a piece of flat bar which the driving light bolts to.

Keep in mind that the turn signal assemblies are also moved out towards the wheel arch flares as they would be blocked by the driving lights if left in their stock position.

Sorry, that's all I got.

Cheers
Greg

On the other hand, in Dave Friedman's book, "Shelby American Up Close and Behind the Scenes" on page 43 there is a good pic that seems to show the driving light bracket as a piece of angle iron welded/bolted to the quick jack

Cheers
Greg.
