Anyone running 351C motor

Picked up CR kit project that came with 351C block, 4V heads that were redone along with reground crank new rods pistons and bearings. What intake, carb, and ignition setups are you guys running? Any recommendation.

Depends a bit what you like to use the car for. Panteras had a very mild cam to keep the car streetable.

My mate had the most radical cam you could buy 20 years ago. To drag race. Didn't pull much under 4.000 rpm, but then delivered 575 Hp near 8.000 rpm.

After many runs he didn't want to win anymore, he wanted the engine to blow up!
He tried. All stock components. Not much high end parts available here.

200 runs, plus many dyno runs later, still going. Eventually he "gave up" and replaced that motor with a 555 cui.

He is a sharp guy that could give great advice.
