The Joy Of Living With A Cobra, For 60 Years
I am surprised, no one here remembers that April was the Diamond anniversary of when a young Jazz musician. walked into Charles Kreisler Automobiles and bought a English White. with red interior, 260 2bl Cobra. I am of course, talking abought Herbie Hancock and CSX2006, the longest original owner Cobra! Here is a funny and sad story on how Herbie stumbled into his Cobra. Cheers, Dennis Just A Car Guy: Herbie Hancock And here is a video of Jay Leno and Herbie and the Cobra!

Great video, thanks for sharing. "Lennie's on the Pike (Newburyport Turnpike)" was about 10 miles away from me. Too bad I was only a kid when the jazz greats were playing there. A legendary place in the Boston music scene.

Love it! "Your Tesla will never have a heartbeat like that, ha"

Pretty amazing! I wonder if there is any other car that has had a single owner for that long.

Really goes right to our hearts for many of us who have gone down a similar path but didn't hang on to that first love the way Herbie did ...

No, his is hands down the longest! The next closest turns 58 this year. A 289 CSX2227, owned by Hank Williams, ironically, also a Jazz musician, and African American! Cheers, Dennis
