60's FIA HT Al or Glass?

I was having a discussion about the original 60's FIA hard top with a friend. Were they originally made in aluminum or glass?
Thanks guys.....
Jeff

Do you mean the "fastback" tops (that required the 'shorty' trunk)?

...not the optional hardtop that was sold by SAI, right?

The fastback 'LeMans' tops were aluminum.

Ron,

Thanks, yes I do mean the top that goes all the way back to the trunk like coupe. Just like the one used on CSX2138 and CSX2131 in the 60's. Not the one like later showed up on 427 car like CSX3203 or the one like CSX2227, I think that was glass?

Thanks Jeff
