Correct Hood latch placement ?

Can anyone tell me where the hood rear latchs are placed ? I have seen at least three different locations of them. The FFR's have them near the hood edges while others have moved them inward various amounts. Is there a specific demension from the hood centerline, left and right ? Thanks, John

Hi John,

I moved mine to where the original Cobras had them, I have 2 FFRs, this was done on my MKIII:

Shelby puts them 23.5" center to center and about 2.25 back from the rear edge of the hood skin.
