Here a shot of the nose of CSX3008... hmmm, looks a little like Sal's ;) http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...x3008-nose.jpg |
The lines are correct. The rest of the car was made from scratch. It's a complete re-do by AC under Brian Angliss. Keck had the car just sitting after putting it away wet.

I think the blue fittings look gay...not that there's anything wrong with that. ;)
From everything I've seen of the originals, I agree with Kris that a variety of connectors were used over the production run. |
I am corrected!
3008 was owned at the time I saw it by agent from Delaware, I believe and he drove it to Charlotte that year with a friend in support station wagon. Drove through the night in a heavy rainstorm and the car was not "put away wet"-he ran it's ASS off during the SAAC open track events. It had duct tape on the hoses, cracked seats-you name it-single four SO with turkey pan-a MESS. Was a Viking blue at the time with stripes and meatballs.I'll scan and post if I dig out the pics. Sal, thanks for the kind words on our block. The rear cap we have now has a rounded edge profile which HELPS, but we have to bash 'em sometimes too. We use Moroso pans but I suspect you have a Canton for it. Call me or email if you need parts info. |

These are nice to use...
