Interior Trim
Studying Trevor's 40 yr book, it appears there were three trim combos, Black, red and beige.
Beige was only available in 2xxxx cars and then only with Green and Rouge Iris (whatever color that is) All 3xxx cars came in black trim Can anyone confirm or deny this info? I was hoping some of the 427 cars came with beige seats. Paul |
I know for sure there were red and tan interiors on some 2000 street cars. I've never seen a 3000 car that came originally with a colored interior, but I concentrate on S/Cs usually, so maybe a street car or two could have been custom ordered with one. Maybe Ron knows of one.

Red was popular on the CSX2000. One came with a dark red/maroon.
There's at least one CSX3000 car that had beige and one that has red...but I believe neither came that way....all the books say black only. You'd have to scan the registry to find an exception...I don't recall one. MK III's done as AC289s had maroon and dark green as leather options. |
COX 6126 (I think) had an original light tan interior, made out of vinyl. I have photos at home and will try to post them later.
