congratulations to Amelia Island
I didn't go but love the pictures (Sportscardigest.com) and saw they really
made an effort to get significant Cobras there, like the Bordinat Cobra, Cougar II, unrestored barn find Hertz Gold 427, drag racing cobra. I love it when an organizer has a theme and then works to fulfill delivering on that theme. |

I believe that the Gold Cobra in the pictures is owned by a Gentlemen from New Jersey I don't think it was a barn find he bought the car a few years back at and auction in FL I happen to see the car when it was up at Panel Craft if thats the same car I am sure it is

I did go, and the show was awesome. headed straight for the Shelby area. Not a lot of Mr. Shelby's Cobras there but those present were the history of our avocation. I know that to Ford people Shelby Cobra means Mustang, so those were in the same area. I was shocked at the lack of our enthusiasts cars attending the weekend! Mine and one other were the only ones I saw out cruising - I thought that part of Fla. would be covered up with our guys. Were you there and I was too preoccupied to see you?

I drove mine to the show. Dark Green no stripes, parked about two blocks away. Had lunch at the Parkway Diner..great food...great car show

I was there - but, all of my collector cars are back in Detroit resting under flannel car covers. Drove my 2002 T'Bird to the show. Some really nice original Cobras on display.
