33rd Fun Under the Sun - NHRA Pomona!
Hi All, We're coming up to the 33rd Annual Fun Under the Sun Handcrafted Auto Show (was the Knott's Show) on Saturday April 14th in front of the Wally Parks NHRA Museum at the Fairplex in Pomona. This year is the 50th Anniversary of the Cobra so to complement the awsome Cobra display Tony Thacker will have in the museum that day, we want to really try to get "50" Cobra's lined up on the aisle leading to the Museum gates. We need your Cobra!
Along with the manufacturers and After Market vendors we usually have at the show, this year we have Brock Racing Enterprises (BRE) registered and a commitment that Peter Brock will be at the show. So, with all the Cobra's around you can talk to the guy who designed the fabulous Cobra Daytona Coupe! We'll also get to see for the first time Darren's Kirkham - Keith Black 427 SOC flip top Cobra. Arizona Cobras
Just so you know, there will be at least one FFR to show up for the show! I and another AZ Cobra buddy will be there. I was at the first AHA show in 1982 that was opened up to all replica cars. Drove my little Intermeccanica Speedster there and traded it that day for a beautiful '78 Black Corvette in the parking lot...even up.
I look forward to attending after all these years. Hopefully other Arizona Cobras will show too. See 'ya then. |
