Mid America Challenge July 12-14 2002 Heartland Park Topeka

Please join us for our 2nd annual Mid America Challenge at Heartland Park Topeka! Challenge consists of 2.5 mile road course, autocross and drag racing! Registration is open, I encourage everyone to register early. Registration is $335 per car, after July 1, $400. Class information is posted below: CLASSES FOR MAC 2002 CATEGORIES AND CLASSES ARE AS FOLLOWS: STREET- Passenger car street tires, unshaved, racing tires prohibited. Must use same tires throughout event. No open exhaust allowed. A.Big Block- 400 cubic inches and up B.Small block- V-8 up to 400 cubic inches C.6 &4 Cylinder D.Power Adder- nitrous, turbos, superchargers PREPARED- DOT tires - determined by tech, open exhaust permitted. Must use same tires throughout event. GFORCE KD ARE PREPARED CLASS! A.Big Block- 400 cubic inches and up B.Small Block- V-8 up to 400 cubic inches C.6 & 4 Cylinders D.Power Adder- nitrous, turbos, superchargers PRO- May use slicks, open exhaust permitted. HOOSIER DOT ARE PRO CLASS! A.Big Block- 400 cubic inches and up B.Small Block- V-8 up to 400 cubic inches C.6 & 4 Cylinders D.Power Adder- nitrous, turbos, superchargers Event Awards will be presented to the drivers with the lowest lap time from the timed portion of the open track event and the lowest time in the autocross/drag racing for each class. Overall Awards will be presented to the 1st and 2nd place drivers in each class with the combined lowest times from the autocross/drag racing and open track events. We talked to Dave Smith, and it looks like they will be sending out a few Spec Series to join us!
As well as Roland's F40 LM- I got to go for a ride with him at the track last week, that car is AWESOME! More to come soon! Leslie |

Too Late???
Just recently saw this event posted and would like to bring a couple of cars up for the fun. Have a 1965 Cobra replica and a 1991 ZR1 corvette.
