Mid-America Ford Performance & Shelby Meet
June 13-16 2002
Great Event with three days of track at Hallet road course and Saturday at the Drags or another day at Hallet if you like. Then a car show on Sunday that is over by noon. Swap meet every day at each location (road course, Drag Strip, and car show). Last year we had 30 or 40 Cobra's, Daytona Coupes, GT 40's, Formula Fords, Pantera's, Shelby's as well as many performance Fords of days gone by. Last year My Classic Cars' Dennis Gage was here as well as many sponsers such as Ford Racing, Edelbrock, Currie, Holley, Hotchkis, Toploader Heaven, Shell Valley, Superperformance, Carrol Shelby, just to name a few. Additionally, several tech sessions were held each afternoon. Last year the cost was $175.00 for all four days that included both race tracks and the car show. The car show and Tech events are held at the Southern Hills Marriott (918) 493-7000. Also, close by is the Southern Hill Hilton (918) 492-5000 as well as several other South Tulsa Hotels and Motels.
