The Trump course is right on the ocean so the view is almost as good as Pebble Beach, nice breezes off the water. The people who put the event on are determined to make this the "Pebble Beach of the south"

A special feature at this year’s Palos Verdes Concours D’Elegance is the Shelby Corral. This special parking area, adjacent to the main Entrance, offers free parking for all automobiles with a Shelby heritage. Owners of Cobras, GT350s, GT500s, and other cars that were influenced by the talented Carroll Shelby are encouraged to bring their cars and to take advantage of this special parking. The various replicas of these exciting cars are also invited to the Corral. Owners will receive preferred parking (space available) – allowing easy access to the Concours. This is a great opportunity for Cobra Clubs from throughout Southern California to park together in the Corral and spend a day honoring the legendary Carroll Shelby and Bill Krause. This also provides Concours spectators with the opportunity to view the wide array of cars that trace their heritage to Carroll Shelby. As Carroll Shelby and Bill Krause are this year’s Grand Marshals, we will have original, concours quality Cobras, GT350s and GT500s on the main concours field as well. There is no need to pre-register for this parking – just arrive at the Concours entrance with your Shelby heritage car, and you will be directed to the Corral.
