ATTENTION ALL TRACK RATS, ROOKIES, WANNABE'S AND BURNED OUT CAR SHOW CHARACTERS
The North East Replica Challenge for 2001 will be held Aug 13-15, at beautiful New Hampshire Int'l Speedway, Loudon NH. As in the past, events will include an autocross, road rally, and of course open track driver training and time trials. Even if you have never been on the track, first class instruction and classroom sessions by regional experts will open the door for you to explore the potential of your car and yourself at your own pace in an extremely safe environment. Especially attractive to future owners is the opportunity to see many brands and models and talk to their owners, all in one place. for some history of the event, check out: Replicachallenge.com CobraCountry.com (search NERC) |

Another Replica Challenge is in the books. With one exception, all went well for the 30+ cars/drivers. The weather was excellent, the track challenging to say the least, with a large variety in grip available on the old asphault vs the NASCAR coated sections, and lots of benchracing time for all. I'll skip the results of the rally and the autocross (since I don't have them) and list the class winners in the roadcourse event. NHIS is approximately 1.5 +/- miles long in the chicane/chicane configuration we ran, the times are the best of three consecutive flying start laps.
