AOD Trans for sale
Art Carr Extreme AOD transmission. Has all the performance mods, e.g. hardened steel solid input shaft, Kevlar & Kolene clutches (8 pack vs. 5 stock), extra wide OD band, tricked-out auto/manual valve body, completely blueprinted unit. HD Super Torque 11 inch converter, all HD parts. Deep aluminum finned pan. Spec'ed to handle 700 FWHP. Less than 600 easy mi. on it.
Stalls about 2500 rpm with a cammed 408W stroker, but real well-behaved on the street, unless you push on the accel pedal a bit....:cool: Asking $2,200.00, plus shipping. Got invoice and can email photos. Currently in an SPF with a 408W motor (also for sale (see separate ad). Would be great in a Cobra, street rod, or a Mustang.
