Contemporary 427 S/C
Any comments on this replica? Good bad or whatever.

I bought one in 1997. Built in 1991, it only had 851 miles on it and the incorrect engine. The first winter saw a 427so installed. I attend most local shows by driving there. It now has over 15k. When you look at the fit and finish on the body, it appears to be much superior to most other cars. Of course the accuracy to the original is 100%. It was molded from and original Cobra body.

While not still in business, the Contemporary Classic car's were regarded as one of the most authentic outwardly:JEKYLHYDE replica's made. I bought mine last year and would (and have) changed some of the chasis after logging miles on it and preparing it for more aggressive driving. The body is to me superior in strenght and thickness to anything I have seen - then again I haven't seen a whole lot. Should you purchase one there are still knowledgable professionals who can help technically as well as parts replacement for the cars. Best luck in whatever you choose!
