428 Cobra Jet engine (cheap!)
Hi guys, I have sold my car and no longer have any use for this motor. So I am offering it cheap! It is still at the machine shop and they just completed the work on it. Precision Engineering in Tucson. with 30 years experience on FE's.
-428 Cobra Jet/original 428cj block with webs bored 30 over -Venolia Forged 10.5/1 pistons -Clevite Bearings -Reconditioned Rods Sunkin/ fully reconditioned 64 427 rods with new bushings and arp rod bolts, balanced and numbered. -64aeg6090 heads - ported/Polished - polished/cc'd combustion chambers. magnafluxed. polished shaped exhaust ports. 3 angle valve job. new valve guides. CJ size Stainless tapered, swirled valves. Comp cams 600 lift springs and retainers(new) -ARP Main Bolts -All machine work is done-magged, bored 30 over and matched to pistons, line honed mains. heads fully reconditioned. -I will also include a standard/standard crank that threw a rod and messed up one of the jounals. A new Detroit Gasket gasket set. A new hardware kit. (includes all the small bolts, sleeves, dowls, etc. Also, flywheel, block cover, clutch cover, and bellhousing. all new or reconditioned. and anything else I have that I forgot to mention. - now the good part..... $1,250 - that's the price of the machine work!!
