Contemporary Body Wanted
Gentlemen; I am seeking a Body for a Contemporary Cobra that is proving elusive to find. I understand that the Molds are hidden away and my most feasible option is to ask for your assistance in locating one privately.Somewhere out there - there`s one in someones garage or in storage and mabey it would like a good home?. Thankyou in advance for any help you can give me. ...Mike

Mike,
Image Auto Works in Southern California, along with Boyd Coddington, as I understand it, started building replicas that in effect are "evolved" versions of the Contemporary cars. Image was a very well-regarded Contemporary dealer-builder. Don't know if they're still building the cars, but you may find they could be a possible source for a body. Best of luck, Tom T. |
I thought Factory Five had the molds and were producing body parts for people. Was that a different mold???
