PArts needed for new project
Just starting a new project of a body off restoration of a 95 Lonestar Classic. It is sound mechanically and needs some tech upgrades and aesthetic work. I wanted to see what kind of parts are out there and get some prices. I appreciate any help.
Here Goes: I think I will need: 17" wheels/tires - looking for PS Eng or Team III, open to others New interior in black with 4 or 5 point harnesses including carpet Chrome Roll Bar - Stainless radiator plus fans and stainless hoses Pedal assembly It has drum brakes on a Ford 9" rear end, need to upgrade to discs in rear and evaluate current brake system. It seems very weak. Also, need to do a lot of clean up in the engine compartment. Ignition and electronics wiring is pretty ugly. Plus hoses need to be stainless braded. Stainless Dash insert New Switches for lights It has VDO gauges, but the speedo is not working correctly. Don't know if replacement is needed. New Steering Column (it has a older gm model tilt, I would like to move to a straight column) Cobra style steering wheel Stainless side vents If anyone has any parts available, please email me at chrisscowden@comcast.net. Thanks again, Chris |
A lot of what you are looking for is down the street and around the corner... at Lone Star.
Call Brian or Steve and ask for pricing on the parts you are looking for. |
