new 427 MR heads C5AE-F SOLD!!!
These appear to be new 427 MR heads. C5AE-F date code is Dec. 68 and Feb. 69. They have new SS valves and Lunati Double springs. They are absolutely ready to run. I will sell them as is for $1800 or bare for $1500. I also have a great set of adjustable rockers complete for $170. I do know the story behind the heads and from which Ford dealer they were puchased. They have been oiled and stored since 1970. C4AE-F heads are HIGH RISER (mine). There is a HUGE difference between medium and high as the intake manifolds won't interchange. High riser intake gaskets are not common stocked items by anybody. There hard to find, but possible to get.
Maybe in 1965 the "F" no longer inidcated high riser? Better double check and be sure what you got.
