Gordon, I do not think the 289 FIA car had a 9 inch from Hi tech. I think the 9 inch is for the 427 car. Scott

Scott, This chassis was specifically set up for the 9". The chassis is gone but all the parts remain.

Scott, speaking of rearends and such, I need to strengthen or preferrably replace the original uprights/hubs of my Hi-Tech. I believe I've read you've already done that or something similar.

Can you recommend a source for the work I want to have done?

Thanks,
David Brown

Gordon, I have a 427 High Tech Aluminum car that needs parts. Now its the body mounted on the frame sitting on a dolly. Is the track width and specs on your rear end the same as the 427? Any photos of the parts you have for sale that would help me? I can email you photos of my car and the parts I have. Michael4yah@msn.com

I will get the dementions for you. It sounds like I have just about everything needed to finish your car.

David, call Chris Harrison at Harrison autodynamics in Phoenix. He might have some parts or suggestion. I am running the original half shafts from hi-tech and uprights. We have checked the welds numerous times and they look good. An option would be the kirkam aluminum uprights and cv joints. My half shafts are much larger than the originals so I think they are fine so far. Good luck, Scott
