vintage 289 heads
I have a pair of vintage 289 heads for sale or trade. They came off of a 289 that I purchased recently, but I plan on replacing them with aluminum GT-40 heads.
Single dot 289 cast into the head (thus, not Hi-Po). Cast into the bottom of each head are the codes C4OE on one head, and C4AE on the other. On the top, the date code plates are 3K14 and 3K24. I thought it odd that the pair had different casting codes, but I suppose it doesn't matter. The date codes are within ten days of each other. Caveate: I don't want to ship these puppies, so I'm hoping to find someone in the CA Bay Area that needs them. For cash, make me an offer, but I'd prefer to trade for either of the following: six-bolt bell-housing flywheel PM or email me. Cheers, Dangerous Doug |
Oh, and if you have some stuff other than a bellhousing or flywheel, I'm building an ERA so anything you think I would need from your spare parts bin is fair to ask if I'd trade.
