If they were knock off I would be interested...
|
Well, they look like knock-offs, and they were used on the originals as seen in Freidmans book :)
|
I considerd those originally but decided to go with Kidneys. Who knows I may end up with 5 sets of wheels before I'm happy:rolleyes: Good luck, I'm sure some one will snag them up at that price!
|
Dave;
Who makes the spinners? All the ones for the D's that I've seen were smaller. Bill Stradtner |
Interesting.
|
What is the bolt pattern?
|
How much for the spinners alone (have AR Kidney Bean w/o spinners)?
|
I ordered the spinners from a guy in North Carolina. I don't have the name handy here at work, but they cost about $400 and are billet aluminum. I will have to see if they sell with the wheels first.
Joe, I will have to get back to you about the bolt spacing. Backspacing is 3.75" front and rear per ERA website. |
New set of spinners are $500+, so, if I were you I would not sell them for much less, i.e., if I needed another set of wheels, it'd be a great deal to buy yours for the price and get the spinners too.
Think the backspacing is 4 3/4 and the offset is different for the front & rear but can't remember the numbers. |
spinners
the spinners for the torque thrust are made by a man in North Carolina his company name is Etchison Machine the last number I have for him is 336-766-5235 the flier I have list the knock offs at $395.00

Are these still for sale and if so what would shipping be to N.Y.? Would like to take the kidney beans of my slabside Aurora and add the thrust D for that early Shelby racecar look.
Thanks, Dale |
Possibly still for sale. A local board member is interested, but we are having a hard time making contact. I am not sure what shipping would cost. I will check with UPS.
Thanks, Dave |
Hi Dave,
Still very interested. I've sent a PM. 289FIA |
