Is there a glovebox behind that door?

HSSS427 02-24-2006 08:54 PM

Yes. It's and aluminum box that fastens to the firewall. Standard ERA set-up.

Bob99 03-01-2006 04:47 PM

Any idea whether this would fit a Johnnex Cobra?

HSSS427 03-01-2006 05:14 PM

I don't know. I do know it's specifically made for an ERA by ERA. I had originally bought a metal dash from Finishline and found it was too long for the ERA.

HSSS427 03-25-2006 01:46 PM

Still for sale

Still for sale

Make me an offer!

mickmate 04-19-2006 02:42 PM

Could you take a couple of measurements for me. Specifically the width and top curve. Bob doesn't think it will fit my 4000 body.

Excaliber 04-19-2006 05:06 PM

Just a note for those who may all ready have a street dash.

I moved the tach to the Speedo hole and the Speedo to the Tach hole. WOW, I like it WAY better being able to clearly see the Tach. It worked out really well and was no problem at all making the swap with the cables or wires (both of which were long enough to easily accomadate the new location).

The dash is fairly easy to swap\remove\install.

Measurements....

Mickmate - the dash is 54" from end mounting hole to mouting hole, and a total of 55" in width. At the center the dash is 9" high.

It is specifically made from fiberglass for the ERA.

BTW Excal - good idea and a heck of a lot cheaper!

Hard to see from this top view, but the ends of the dash curve in then flatten out where the mounting holes are on each end.

Thanks for the info, hope it helps sell it. I didn't realize it is glass, thanks anway.

HSSS427 04-19-2006 08:47 PM

Sold to JasonK if the transaction goes through. Thanks for shopping all!

Now, who needs a bellhouse, a Tremec 3550, and a Isky cam setup?

oldboy001 04-22-2006 11:15 AM

Is the Tremec 3550 still for sale? How much?

Scott

Excaliber 04-22-2006 11:23 AM

Mickmate, why would glass or alloy make a difference with the dash? It is covered with material and the glass is quite thick and rigid. I needed to slightly enlarge the holes on mine for new gauges. That was easily done because it WAS glass, alloy would have been much tougher to work with.

HSSS427 04-23-2006 10:38 AM

oldboy001 - Tremec 3550 is still for sale. Asking $900. See following thread for pics

Just personal preference and an "originality" thing.

Excaliber 04-23-2006 11:25 PM

I can't argue with the originality thing! Good call. :D
