Will this set up bolt right up to a 351W? Any ideas how much to ship to Los Angeles?

Fox 05-26-2006 08:20 PM

The bell housing listed for a 289/302/351W and the Cleveland would be Tremec Bellhousing, #TR6392. There is a listing for it at Mustang's Unlimited, I am sure there are others. http://www.mustang-unl.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=TR6392+01

I will get back soon about the shipping charges to LA.

Thanks for the inquiry.

May I ask why you have decided not to use??

This is the model that I plan to purchase but I amnot sure I am ready yet, would you share why you do not plan to use this trans?

Fox 05-26-2006 08:43 PM

There is nothing wrong with the trans... My wife is pregnant with our third boy and any Cobra build is at least a year or two off. I have quite a few parts and a finished 302. I don't plan on selling the engine or most of the parts but looking at $1500 on a shelf in the basement just doesn't make much sense right now.

This isn't a fire sale. If there are no takers, I will just hold tight for the likely ERA. It just seems like the right thing to do with some new expenses on the horizon, that's all.

Shipping to LA would be about $120 depending on the actual zip and whether it is delivered to a residence or business. Business address' are a little cheaper.

John, I may be interested. What's the deal on the Hurst shifter? Comes stock on the 600? I put a Pro 5.0 on my 3550. Same kind of thing, but from Tremec?

Fox 05-30-2006 03:32 PM

The Hust shifter is stock and came installed from the factory.
