427 Side Oiler
I have a DAMAGED 427 side oiler for sale. It is at the machine shop today and i will pick it up this weekend. According to the techs at R&L Engines in Westwood NJ, she was fired 1 time and let loose. #2 cyl is cracked, it ain't pretty. I have no idea what it is worth if anything at all. (my boat has an anchor already)
Included are some miscelaneous items, crank, scratched but not unuseable, 6 of the 8 cyls (not sure where those other 2 went!) water pump, timing chain cover, NO Heads. I am no engine guy but some say it is salvageable. I will have the report and pics if anyone is interested, this weeked. No #s at this time, it has been sitting for 40 yrs and was painted for long term storage. Thanks Sonny |
