Todd, got a friend who would be very interested in this setup but need to know if there are any problems?. Were you able to get it tuned and run correctly?, just don't want to send him on a trail of tears. Hope you understand.

Thanks

427 s/o, I have no background on webers. I bought the car which had a 1965 side-oiler with this set-up on it. The prior owner told me as long as I kept the linkage tight there was no tuning. We dyno'd the car and it was slightly lean so we made it richer. I drive the car in the city only and webers are made to run. I put a carb on it which fit my driving style. Note, The webers made 50 ft lbs more of torque to the rear wheels than the carb does. With the webers on,my side pipe brackets kept breaking due to the torque. They are fine with the carb. I do miss the "eye candy" from the weber set-up. Todd

My old weber set

Hi Todd, It looks like you have the weber set up that I put together on ebay for sale? It looked as good as I remembered it. I only wish that I had an engine to put it on. Dan Hardiman

Todd, you can have them look at my personal photo page and see the webers on the engine and cobra that you now own.
Dan

There are now photos of the webers when they were in the car on the e-bay listing so you can see what they look like installed. The bottom photo is as good as it gets.
