351C Block

I am in need of a good 351C block in the Atlanta GA area. It needs to make a .040 over bore with no sleeves. 2 bolt main is fine.
Thanks, Tim

If you can't find one any closer I have 4- 5 standard bore engines and a CJ shortblock (actually the complete engine if I yank the heads off my rod). Just let me know. Who made the headers for your sidepipes amd are they still around?

Thanks for the compliment on the headers. I made them! I will definatly keep you on the list for a block source.

Rick,
Good point, I wouldn't advise( or even suggest) going .040 over. Even if it does, should something go awry, and things sometimes do, you'd be looking for another block or sleeving.

The ford engine parts interchange book by George Reid says it is fine to go to .060 over in a 351c.I do not know first hand .Also keep an eye on EBAY,you may find a good block close by. chuck

Don't listen to George! Regardless, if you are doing much of an overbore you should have the block thoroghly checked. Better safe than sorry!
Rick
